Candice King is an American actor from the United States. She rose to the top of Hollywood's ladder when she played Caroline Forbes, the lead character of The Vampire Diaries. Candice's first career was in singing before becoming an actress. The album she released her debut, Always the Innocent People in United States, was released in 2009 She wrote twelve of the 14 songs on the album. As she worked on her acting, she also guest starred on shows such as How I Met Your Mother. Although her acting career was steady the big breakthrough eluded her until she was cast in the CW show The Vampire Diaries. She became a household brand in a matter of minutes. Candice Queen received acclaim for her amazing acting abilities and exceptional performance. She played the same role in all eight seasons, that ran for 171 episodes. The Originals was her spin-off which debuted in 2018; Legacies followed in 2021.
