Amanda Elizabeth Righetti, an American actor and producer. She is best known for her role as CBS show The Mentalist's special agent Grace Van Pelt. Righetti is a native of Utah she always dreamt of becoming a performer. When she was four, she began dance. She made her debut on the big screen in 1995, with Love and Happiness. In the smaller screen, her debut was in CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as a special guest. Righetti began modeling at the age of 14. Righetti started her modeling career when she was 14 years old. Her move into Los Angeles four years later and played a few minor, but significant parts. Righetti was also cast in several other films including the horror movie Friday the 13th of September in 2009. The movie about the superhero Captain America : The First Avenger Fox's soap-opera North Shore as well as in Reunion. From 2008 until 2015, she played Grace Van Pelt in The Mentalist getting praise from the critics for her role. Righetti has recently played Madeline Kenner (USA Networks' science fiction drama Colony).
